Moors and Christians Festivities 2025: “Afternoon Alardo”

After the Embassy, a new musket battle takes place, following the same route as the morning Alardo. On this occasion, it is the Moorish Captain and Lieutenant who leave the Castle around 5:30 p.m., accompanied by the same filaes as in the morning session.

The Moorish Captain and Lieutenant, along with their filaes, will carry out the Encaro at the same location as in the morning, while the rest of the Moorish side will follow the route previously taken by the Christian side.

The skirmishes in Plaça d’Espanya will be led by the retreating Moorish side, while the Christian side advances.

The day will end with a symbolic hand-to-hand combat and the capture of the Castle by the Christian side.
