“Festivity of Sant Antoni Abat”

The Feast of Sant Antoni Abbot in Alcoi.
January 18th:
At 4.15 pm, in the Glorieta, there will be a market organized by the Society for the Protection of Animals and Plants of Alcoi.
At 4:30 p.m., gathering in Plaça de Dins, of all the people with the animals they want to bless.
At 5:00 p.m., everyone will leave with a cavalcade through the passage of Sant Agustí, Plaça d’Espanya and Carrer de Sant Nicolau. The cavalcade will end at the Glorieta, where the customary blessing of the animals will take place.
Traffic will be closed on Carrer de Sant Nicolau for the blessing of the animals. The entourage will be preceded and entertained by Barxell, Grup Dolçaines and Tabals, there will be a chocolate party.
